Return Policy

Vaultek is 100% committed to serving our customers with the best product quality and customer service. We offer a 30-day return window from the date of purchase and guarantee a 3-year limited warranty with registration for safes, and a 1-year limited warranty on LifePods.

You can return items purchased using a prepaid return label provided by Vaultek. There will be a 10 percent restocking fee on returns which will be deducted from your refund upon receiving the item and all original accessories. Items need to be returned in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major contents may be denied a return. Also, please return items with all accessories and packaging. If you do not, we may either deny the return, or allow a return with a nonrefundable deduction on your refund for what is missing. If you choose to use your own shipping label there will be no additional charge and a full refund will be provided. Refunds typically take 7-10 business days to be issued, once the product is returned to our facility.

Vaultek is committed to providing high quality products and makes every effort to ensure its products are free of defects.

Vaultek guarantees your safe will be free of defects in materials or workmanship for a period of three years from the date of original purchase, and a one year limited warranty for LifePods with verified product registration.

The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and not transferable. This warranty is only valid for products purchased and operated in the U.S. This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, use in any manner for which is not designed, neglected, modification, damage inadvertently caused by the user, accidents and/or tampering.

If service is needed Vaultek will, at its option, exchange or repair without charge for parts or labor. Upon authorization of warranty service, customers are responsible for securely packaging product and all original accessories. Additionally, customers are responsible for the costs of shipping to and from Vaultek service center.

If the claimed defect cannot be identified or reproduced, customers will be held responsible for the costs incurred.

Please have the following information available before you begin a warranty claim with Vaultek:

* Purchaser’s name, mailing address, email address, and a phone number.

* Copy of receipt or online order number.

* Detailed description of the problem.

Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of, or the inability to use the Vaultek safe.

Take the guess work out and test fit your valuables on a printable template.

Printable templates are available for test fitting. Simply print the template on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper and place your valuables on the template to see if they fit. When printing do not scale to fit instead print at 100%.

All Vaultek safes are TSA compliant allowing you to not only fly with them but also transport firearms. If transporting a firearm, be sure the safe is checked or included with checked luggage and that you notify your airline agent at check in. If no firearms are present you can take the safe with you through security and pass through x-ray, but be prepared to open the safe as requested from government officials.

If you have any additional questions or concerns be sure and contact your airline before your departure.

Bluetooth: There is a strict device verification process in place so only you and your phone have access to safe settings. Additionally, you can disable the unlock slider. Unlocking via phone is available within Bluetooth range of about 25 feet. With Buletooth connectivity, you can view the safe activity and manage safe settings.

Replace Battery (Excludes LifePod 2.0)

All safes, excluding LifePod, use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be replaced as needed. Note, depending on the model the battery will last for months on a single charge.

Keeping the safe plugged in constantly (Excludes LifePod 2.0)

Leaving your safe plugged in continually will not harm the safe or battery. However, to preserve battery life we suggest that you unplug occasionally to allow the battery to cycle down.

LifePod 2.0

LifePod uses a standard 9V Alkaline battery. Under normal usuage the battery will last one year. You can also plug in the unit using a micro-USB cable to power the LifePod.
